From April 27-28, 2024 we organize the “Training Workshop for the role of facilitator of education for film and environment”. This workshop is offered free of charge to selected participants from Brașov County.
The workshop aims to develop the skills of the participants in facilitating discussions and organizing activities on environmental protection in schools, using festival films to address themes such as deforestation, pollution and responsible consumption. - developing a collaborative relationship with teachers and cultural specialists for the CULMEA team's involvement in programs such as School Otherwise or Green Week (especially in the context of the National Strategy on Education for the Environment and Climate Change)

CULMEA: Film and Environmental Educationis the first environmental film festival dedicated to children and young people.
We set out to create a context for information, discussion and imagination on the climate crisis, using film as a tool and window to the world. We want to help create a community of children & young people who are more informed about the climate crisis and better equipped with knowledge and tools for responsible and sustainable living.
CINEMATECA CULMEA: European films and environmental education is co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund. The project does not necessarily represent the position of the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
