We are looking for small compositions written by children aged 5-12 years through which we invite them to imagine what nature would look like if it were a creature, a character.

Children are invited to describe in a few lines how it looks in their imagination, if it were to give it a shape. If nature were a character, what color would it be? How is his hair, his eyes? How many arms does he have? Would he have a special suit? Any physical descriptions of it are helpful.

Once the compositions were received, the artist Daia Grigorewill shape them by drawing the most creative characters that will be included in an exhibition within the CULMEA: Film and Environmental Education festival, which takes place between 16-20 October.

Then parents or teachers are asked to photograph the child's text as clearly and parallel to the sheet as possible, and send the photo through this FORMor directly on whatsapp at +40 726 240 766(Ana Stamatescu). Children are asked to mention their first name (or callsign) and age in writing at the end of the text (example: Stefi - 7 years).

Bio Daia Grigore:

With a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications, Daia — Diana Grigore currently lives in Bucharest, where she works as an illustrator and also as a graphic designer.
Her works are distinguished by vibrant colors, sensitivity to fluid and organic forms, often with a playful character. He finds his inspiration in nature, in children's drawings and in small everyday thoughts and happenings.

Some time ago, together with psychotherapist Oana Șerbu, he developed the project Fear has no hair through which he explored the fears of children who were invited to imagine them in the form of characters. The children told in writing about the fears-characters, and Daia gave them shape, illustrating them. In this way, not only did they come into contact with their fears, but they were able to externalize them, discuss them with their parents and perceive them through a new filter, this time a creative one.
